Lacework Console Overview
Supported Browsers
The Lacework Console supports the following browser versions and later:
- Google Chrome 63
- Apple Safari 11
- Microsoft Edge 15
- Mozilla Firefox 58
Global Search
In the Discovery left navigation section of the Lacework Console, Lacework lets you perform a global search of assets known to Lacework.
To start a search, click Search and enter text in the search bar. Constrain the search using any of the available filters.
Lacework returns results when the search finds any assets that match the entered string, within the following time constraints:
- Alerts created in the last 180 days.
- Networks, Kubernetes clusters, pods, and namespaces accessed in the last 7 days.
- All other assets created or accessed in the last 30 days.
Troubleshooting Access to the Lacework Console
If you cannot access your Lacework account, read the following sections to learn about possible causes and fixes.
Copy the Login Link into the Browser
The initial login link that Lacework emails to you is valid for one use only and expires after 10 minutes. Attempts to use this link more than once, or after it expires, will fail.
Copy and paste the emailed login link directly into the browser.
Allowlist Lacework
Security tooling that parses or validates the URL within email clients on your machine could cause login issues.
Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Email
If your organization uses Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Email server, you may experience the following issues:
Failed logins to the Lacework Console using the login email sent by Lacework.
When you log in to Lacework, Lacework emails you with a link to the Lacework Console. You may be unable to use the link in the email to access the Lacework Console with an Office 365 Exchange Email server.
Emails sent from Lacework are delayed.
Emails sent from Lacework are marked as spam and go to the spam folder.
Corrective actions you can take:
- Copy and paste the link from the email directly into the browser.
- To prevent the above issues, Lacework recommends adding the Lacework sending domain (lacework.net) to your Office 365 Exchange Email

Other Environments
If you experience failed logins, you can attempt to resolve the issue by allowlisting the Lacework domain (lacework.net).
